Every session has a mode. Pick deep focus: headphones on, grind together, talk optional.
Priya N.
"New cafe roulette: arrive, no outlets, leave. Repeat."
Every session leaves quick tags behind: wifi held up, outlets, how long people stayed.
Pick a vibe, pick a spot, put it on the map. Or just join one that's already happening.
A timer, focus blocks, and who's in. Structure without pressure.
See who's nearby, what they're working on, and what you have in common. DM to set up the next one.
Every session has a mode, so you always know what you're walking into before you show up.

More than a map
Static directories go stale. Scheduled networking flakes. plug starts from the one signal that can't be faked: people actually showing up somewhere, right now.
The map only shows spots where something is happening: live now or planned soon. No stale listings, no empty pins.
Profiles show what someone's focused on, their interests, and their saved spots. DM to set up a session together.
Ask where people are meeting up this week. Find your crowd the day you land somewhere new.
Afterward, attendees drop quick tags: wifi held up, outlets, how long they stayed. Spot intel from people who actually worked there.
Spots come from Google Maps, so any city works on day one. City channels open where demand is loudest.
8 years as a remote and hybrid software engineer, at a startup, then at Google. 13 countries. The hard part was never finding a cafe. It was that working alone, every single day, slowly grinds you down. Existing apps list places, or schedule networking events that half the people skip. None of them make "come work next to me" a one-tap thing.
So I built it. In public, no investors, just a real fix for a problem I live every day.

It is in closed beta. We are opening access in waves, starting with the invite list. The map is never empty: it pulls real coworking sessions and events from local event boards, and user-created sessions layer on top. Get on the list to join the first wave.
All of them. Spots come from Google Maps, so you can start a session anywhere on day one. City channels and organized communities open where demand is loudest. Want yours first? Get early access and tell your crowd.
Anyone can start one: pick a spot, pick a preset (deep focus, pomodoro, accountability, build & feedback, knowledge share, social, or write your own), and post it now or schedule it for later. Others see it on the map and join. The host doesn't owe anyone anything; it's "I'll be here, come plug in."
Each session picks a preset. Deep focus: headphones on, side by side, talk optional. Pomodoro: timed blocks with short breaks. Accountability: set goals, check in. Build & feedback: bring work, get eyes on it. Knowledge share: teach and learn. Social: casual, often ends in lunch. You always know what you're walking into.
Profiles show only what you choose: what you're focused on, your interests, your saved spots. Your exact location is never shown. You appear "nearby" at the neighborhood level, and only when you opt in. Your precise spot is shared only when you join a session there.
NomadTable is for recreation and things to do while traveling. Luma is for big, one-off networking events. Meetup is organized groups with RSVPs. plug is for recurring focus sessions with people near you: open the map, see who's nearby in the next few hours, sit down next to them. And every session feeds spot intel (wifi, outlets, how long people stayed) back into the map, which none of those collect.
Full refund, no questions asked. If plug doesn't deliver something genuinely useful, you get every cent back.
Sessions at your space mean filled seats on slow days. Host tools are in development. Email plugspots@veltra.ca and we will reach out.
